Open Colleges

 

A large percentage of our target market were women with small children looking to re-enter the workforce and achieve better work/life balance and greater job satisfaction. A large proportion of these women had never studied beyond high school - so beginning study once again was nerve-racking. Our strategy was ‘to sell confidence, not courses’.  

In our most recent ‘Find Your Awesome’ campaign, we decided to honour a recent Open Colleges graduate’s achievement - a married woman with children, a very busy life finding her ‘thing’. Often is the case that these female graduates - their graduation goes relatively un-noticed and uncelebrated. So we decided to throw a surprise graduation party to acknowledge her incredible achievement with 70 close friends and family including interstate guests and a brother all the way from Canada.
